Narc party leader Charity Ngilu has said that she regrets supporting Jubilee during the last general elections.
According to Ngilu, she is not ready to make the same mistake again as the nation looks forward to the next general polls. She claimed that her decision to support President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William during the last general polls cost her senatorial bid.
“I will not make the same mistake this time round. I have made a resolve to back Kalonzo Musyoka. I beseech the entire Kamba community to rally behind our own son as well,” she said as quoted by Nation.
She further affirmed that she will stand with Wiper Leader and former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka to end as he seeks to dethrone UhuRuto in 2017.
“I wish to inform Kalonzo Musyoka that I will campaign for him as I seek Kitui governor’s seat. I hope that he will support my gubernatorial ambitions in return,” said Ngilu.
The outspoken promised to change the lives of her people if elected the next governor of Kitui.
“Kitui is well-endowed with extensive natural and mineral wealth and it is a shame that we are reeling in poverty. I will ensure optimum exploitation of the resources so as to make this county economically independent,” she said.
